And it's not the translation per se; or rather, that consideration is a distant second to the fact that I seem to think differently in English. The turns my thought takes diverge subtly, and the final destinations in two languages are not necessarily even close to each other.
Oh for Delany's sake! I wouldn't know, but Sapir-Whorf hypothesis might as well be called Cpt. Obvious hypothesis.
